He had served as a chief resident at Stony Brook University where he completed his residency training. He then completed his ACGME-accredited pain management fellowship at Montefiore Hospital. Dr. Li completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at University of Michigan after finishing his general surgery internship at Mayo Clinic. He then completed his Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and also in Pain Medicine. 

 

Dr. Li is also known as a leading expert in neuromodulation therapy. He believes in the power of advancements in neuromodulation therapy which will bring in “new hope and freedom to patients who have been imprisoned by their pain.” Dr. Li has an amazing personality and cares deeply about his trainees. Dr. Li is very confident and yet, he is also known to his colleagues and patients as one of the most caring and humble physicians. He has extensive backgrounds in leadership, serving as leaders in many national pain organizations. Of note, he also served as the medical director of  Premier Pain Center. 

 

He has superior knowledge of basic and also clinical sciences. He has many publications, authored many book chapters. Dr. George C. Chang Chien DO

Dr. George Chang Chien specializes in musculoskeletal medicine and comprehensive pain management. He was trained in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, the #1 Ranked Rehabilitation Hospital in the United States.

He completed fellowship training in comprehensive pain medicine at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Anesthesiology Institute. Dr. Chang Chien has authored over 100 manuscripts on the diagnosis and treatment of pain and musculoskeletal conditions. He has active research in regenerative medicine applications for chronic pain, medical aesthetics, and musculoskeletal medicine. 

His professional ultrasound teaching experience in musculoskeletal and interventional pain management includes Course Director at the Cleveland Clinic Pain Medicine Annual Ultrasound Course, Course Director for the Ultrasound for Regenerative Medicine for the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) workshop, Apex Biologix, Dannemiller, and the Society for Pain Practice Management  (SPPM).

Dr. Maddalo is an Interventional Pain Management Specialist with extensive training in a wide variety of procedures to help treat all kinds of chronic pain syndromes. He completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship at New York University where he also completed his Anesthesiology Residency. There he learned numerous interventional techniques to help treat a wide variety of pain syndromes. 

 

His goal is to help alleviate patients’ pain in an opioid-free fashion utilizing the latest technology and techniques such as spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, minimally invasive interventional techniques, ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided injections in addition to other interventions. 

 

Additionally, Dr. Maddalo has expertise in treating patients with craniofacial pain syndromes and has special training in interventions for the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia and other headache syndromes using intricate procedures. He also has expertise with Botox treatments to help with certain pain conditions such as muscular dystonias and migraine headaches.

 

In an effort to provide the most up-to-date care, he regularly attends conferences and brings back the best data-driven treatments for his patients.

Dr. Amitabh Gulati is an excellent teacher in pain medicine. As the program director of the world-renowned Cornell Pain Medicine Fellowship, he cares deeply about the experiences and education of our future pain practitioners. He frequently gives lectures, both nationally and internationally, and organizes many workshops in the field of ultrasound therapeutics and guidance,  interventional procedures in the management of cancer pain and neuromodulation techniques. He does extensive research in the field of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound for the treatment of neuropathic pain and coordinates the study of interventional pain treatment paradigms for cancer pain medicine. As a high-profile, engaging national leader, he is currently serving as a board member in multiple pain organizations and is the President of the World Academy of Pain Medicine Ultrasound (WAPMU) and a founding member and examiner for the CIPS (Certificate of Interventional Pain Sonography).

Dr. Anh L. Ngo, MD, MBA

Anh L. Ngo, MD MBA, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and a Harvard trained interventional pain medicine physician at Pain Specialty Group in Newington, New Hampshire. Dr. Ngo takes a multidisciplinary approach to pain management, offering the most effective and innovative treatments available, from interventional procedures to holistic approaches, to help his patients find relief from their pain for a better quality of life.
Dr. Ngo completed his undergraduate degree from the School of Biological Sciences, Doctorate of Medicine from the School of Medicine, and Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Technology Management from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Ngo completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles and worked in private practice for a decade prior to pursuing an academic career as faculty at Harvard Medical School. He completed his fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at Harvard University.
Dedicated to his profession. Dr. Ngo served as a faculty at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine and then Harvard Medical School and is currently a member of the Committee on Admissions at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ngo is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Academy of Pain Medicine, North American Neuromodulation Society, International Neuromodulation Society, American Society of Ketamine Physicians and the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience. He is trained to perform numerous specialized and advanced-pain management procedures, including spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal pump therapy, kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation of tumors in the vertebral spine, and minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD) procedure. Dr. Ngo performed the first-ever MILD procedure in New Hampshire Seacoast. Throughout his training and career, Dr. Ngo has given much of his time back to the communities he serves and has started many nonprofit organizations, including The Orange County Swim for Kids, The Vietnamese Community Camp for Kids, and UCI CampMed.

Dr. Rastogi is the Medical Director and Co-Founder of North American Spine & Pain Consultants. He received his medical education at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania.
He highly enjoys the art and the science of practicing pain management. He considered the field a perfect fit for him early in his medical career, as it embodies the essence of being a doctor – taking away pain. He understands the importance of multi-modal therapy in treating all aspects of pain: physical and emotional.
His current focus is on advancing the state of interventional spine by investigating innovative new treatment options. Dr. Rastogi has been involved in multiple studies evaluating various cutting edge minimally invasive spinal procedures. He also completed research at The University of Virginia on the analgesic effects of anticonvulsants. He has written many chapters concerning interventional spine procedures for professional textbooks.
Dr. Rastogi is currently the national fellowship course director for multiple companies involved in developing emerging spine technology. He has trained over 400 physicians from both the US and internationally on a variety of interventional techniques.
